The lost smartphone brand Micromax is making a comeback in the Indian market. Rahul Sharma the co-founder of Micromax has announced that the company is getting back again with its new sub-brand called “IN” for India. It’s not surprising Micromax already had a very successful brand called YU Televentures, under this brand they have launched many popular phones like Yu Yureka, YU Yureka Plus, Yu Yunicorn, Yureka S, and many more.
A video released by Rahul Sharma hits the hearts of Indians directly, which includes targeting the Chinese companies and China vs India border fight. That is clearly indicating that this time they will target the patriotism of Indians, which is really good, if they want to take over again this is the thing to start with. Rest Micromax got an old experience and they understand the taste of the Indian smartphone market.
Sources are also confirming two new smartphones from the IN brand are going to launch soon in the market. Rahul Sharma also said in an interview that this time there will be ‘no bloatware, no ads’ he also mentioned that it will be a stock Android experience.
The smartphones will be priced b/w Rs. 7000 to 25000, which means one will target the low segment and one will be for the mid-range segment. In terms of specifications its is said to have MediaTek’s Helio P35 processor with a 6.5-inches HD+ display out of the box. If rumors to be believed it will be packed with 32GB internal space with 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants. The phone is said to have a large 5,000 mAh battery as well.
