Samsung Galaxy Fold upgrade is now expected to have a cheaper variant this time. We all know that the Galaxy Fold was priced whopping at $1,980 with its 512GB variant. But the new upcoming device from the house of Samsung called Fold 2 is expected to have a cheaper variant as well which will come with a 256GB storage.
Sources at SamMobile have spotted two new variants of the devices one is cheaper variant SM-F916 that has 256GB storage out of the box, and there is also a 512GB variant as SM-F91x. However, the prices of these two devices are still unclear but it looks that 256GB variant will be cheaper compared to 512GB.
The leaks and rumors are very common these days related to Galaxy Fold 2, it is expected to support wireless charging but we are not sure about how fast it will be. Recently we had witnessed confirmation about the OnePlus Warp Charge 30 Wireless system which is said to be faster than usual Samsung and Apple devices.
It is also being said that there will be two variants of the smartphone one will come with 4G connectivity and other will be a 5G centric device. So there are chances that the small storage variant will only have 4G connectivity whereas you will get 5G network support in the top variant.
The new Fold 2 is rumored to have a Galaxy Note series like S Pen feature which is a kind of suspicious thing but nothing related to Samsung leaks can be denied. For the optics, it is said to be capable of getting 8K shots from the front as well as the rear sensors.
The so-called available renders of the device are also pointing that this time we are going to see a bigger second screen if we compare it with the previous variant of Galaxy Fold. It is expected to have flagship-grade specs the phone will be powered by massive Snapdragon 865 out of the box. There will be a 7.7-inch notch-less display which is larger than the previous Fold smartphone.
